A lot of the promotional material for joining this company says “turn your passion for decorating into a business”.  The truth is I don’t have a passion for decorating; in fact, I’m not even very good at it. (It’s true!) However, I know what I like and really that’s all decorating is, right? Creating a space that you like – where you enjoy spending time.  I love seasonal touches and my favorite time to decorate is in the fall – I love all of the colors and fun Halloween pieces – I enjoy my fall decor so much that I start earlier each year and  I wait longer and longer to take it down to get ready for the Christmas holiday. (Don’t judge. Ha!)

I discovered Signature a few years ago when a friend started selling, but they’ve been around for over 50 years. I purchased a few seasonal pieces, I was so impressed with the quality of the products and I wanted more. Fast forward to this year and I decided to join the company, just try it for a few months.  What I’ve found is a traditional, ‘old-school’ direct sales company (that I didn’t even realize I was missing) but one that still manages to keep up with the changing times with a huge online presence, an easy shopping experience, and updated training for their consultants.  More importantly, the company is transparent, supportive, and really listens to the field. You get the feeling you’re part of a family here at Signature.

But back to “passion.” While it’s true that I’m not necessarily passionate about decorating, I AM passionate about helping you create a home that you’re happy to return to at the end of the day. A simple home, filled with things you love, not with things you’ve purchased because they were trendy or worse, just for the sake of buying.  And with Signature HomeStyles, I get to help you transform your space into “home, sweet home” – whatever that means to YOU!
